Good Years estimates how long people who answer as you do tend to live, how many of those years are typically spent in good health, and what would move both. Everything runs on your device.
Email dennislundlorenzen@gmail.com. It's one person answering, so a reply may take a few days.
If you're writing about a number that looks wrong, it helps to say your country, your age, and roughly what you answered — there is no account and no data is sent anywhere, so nothing about your estimate is visible from this end.
Where do the numbers come from? Population life tables from the United Nations and healthy-life figures published for whole populations, adjusted using associations reported in large peer-reviewed cohort studies. Every factor and its source is listed in the app under "About the science".
Is this a prediction about me? No. They are averages across large groups of people who answered the same way, shown as ranges. Your own outcome depends on genetics, medical history, environment and chance, none of which a questionnaire can capture.
How do I delete my answers? Settings → Delete everything, or delete the app. Both remove it permanently. Nothing was ever sent anywhere, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
I paid for Pro and it isn't showing. Settings → Restore purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so make sure you're signed in with the same one.
I'm worried about what the app told me. These are population statistics, not a diagnosis, and no app can tell you about your own health. A doctor can. If the numbers have left you distressed rather than informed, the app's "A note on these numbers" screen links to findahelpline.com, a free directory of confidential support lines in over 100 countries.
Good Years is an educational wellness app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care. For decisions about your health, talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional.
