Good Years is an educational wellness app. It shows statistical estimates based on population data — averages across large groups of people, drawn from published life tables and peer-reviewed cohort studies. These estimates are never a prediction about you as an individual. Your actual health and lifespan depend on many factors no app can know, including genetics, medical history, and chance.
The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, screening, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. For decisions about your health, talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something shown in this app.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store standard licence terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The optional one-time purchase is processed by Apple. Billing, refunds, and payment questions are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
Baseline figures are derived from United Nations World Population Prospects data (CC BY 3.0 IGO) and from World Health Organization datasets published at data.who.int (CC BY 4.0). The estimates shown are derived values computed by the app; they are not endorsed by, and do not represent the views of, the United Nations or the World Health Organization.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the estimates. To the same extent, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these terms for future versions of the app; the current version is always at this address. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
